On The Spot Reporter
Well, with the changing of the guard so to speak, Dave is now in Baggage Service along with Bill Payne and the last ex Delta employee at Air Cargo is Mahlon Fegley. The operation has been again turned over to the contract carrier.
Dave reports all is not lost as Rose Marie has returned as a Ready Reserve Retired Returnee ( rrrr) to help Vic out in the Office
Tim Jones is also retired, but now a consultant to Delta.( Rumor has it he shredded some files and now is the only source of vital info).
Seen Passing through Skip Leach and wife Helen.
Ruffus Sharpe, Kevin Lord just a few old timers everyone doing fine. Talked to Tom Shupp doing OK.
Lots of snow in ABE area, 11 inches.
John Zeigler,Earle Buchanan Tom Burke, Bill Schappelle,Tom Knoepler,Jim Noone and Wes Yoder showed up for the lunch at monthly meeting. Carl Feindt and Larry Corrigan called in sick
A small group of Jerseyites met at Ponzio's Brooklawn Restaurant the other day and plan to make it a regular Breakfast get-together the first Wednesday of each month. John Zeigler, Ken Martin, Walt McGuinness, Jack Healy and Tom Burke were the charter members. We could build on this and then possibly alternate with the Ramada meeting at a later date. We want to bring as many folks together as possible and a little river crossing should not stop us.
